Smart Lock
SMART LOCK is the fastest manual wheel clamping system on spindle chuck in the world. Thanks to the “expanding nut” (GIULIANO exclusive patent), you just need a 90° movement on the knob after dropping the shaft into the center hole, to have a complete, safe and reliable wheel clamping on your spindle chuck, with no need of tricky hooking. Complete wheel clamping operation needs just 2 seconds. The absence of a turntable plate removes the restraint of the clamping range, normally found on conventional rim-clamp tyre changers.

BP1 Plus is a powerful pneumatic bead pressing system, facilitating mounting/demounting operations of UHP and run-flat tyres; and "Plus", at the end of the mounting procedure, it lifts up automatically, releasing the pressure on the bead and stowing itself in "rest" position, with no need for the operator to change his working position.
The arc movement of the bead breaker disks allows the disks to work purposely in misaligned position with the center hole of the rim (Center Driven Concept), thereby ensuring a better and faster penetration of the disks towards the center of the rim during the normal clockwise rotation and reducing the bead breaking time at a single turn.
Ergonomic and user-friendly, thanks to pneumatic control systems it can be used with just one hand!

Thanks to the patented QX Plus system, each tyre can be demounted both in the traditional way and in the “no lever” mode by simply acting on a control switch. The video shows how to demount and mount a tyre using the traditional bead lifting lever (QX Plus in "lever" mode).

The video shows how to demount and mount a tyre without using the bead lifting lever (QX Plus in "no lever" mode). By using QX Plus mount/demount system (Giuliano Patent) it is possible to remove the tyre from the rim in a safe and error-free way. BP1 Plus pneumatic bead pressing arm (GIULIANO patent) makes mounting/demounting operations on the second bead of ultra-low profile tyres much easier. As a plus it automatically returns to its rest position at the end of the procedure, with no need for the operator to change his working position.

Double arm/disk air operated bead breaker system is operated through a control console. Bead breaker disks are slightly but purposely misaligned with the rim center for a better and faster penetration and immediate bead loosening, Center Driven Concept (GIULIANO patent). Double rotation speed by pedal (motoinverter). The lower bead breaker disk can be properly positioned with the help of the mirror that is specially designed for this purpose.
